Gavin serves as the Director of Operations at Compass Therapeutic Alliance, where he oversees the day-to-day operations that support the practice’s commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality mental health care. With extensive experience in the field of education, healthcare administration and organizational leadership, Gavin is dedicated to creating efficient systems and a supportive environment for both clients and clinicians.

In this role, Gavin manages operational strategy, team coordination, client experience initiatives, workflow development, and practice growth. Gavin works closely with clinical and administrative staff to ensure the practice operates smoothly while maintaining a welcoming, client-centered atmosphere.

Before joining Compass Therapeutic Alliance, Gavin held leadership and operations roles in the educational setting, where he developed expertise in process improvement, staff management, program development, and organizational efficiency. He brings more than 20 years of experience in education, supported by an Administrative Services Credential, a Master’s degree in Education from Pepperdine University, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and a bachelor’s degree in Managerial Economics from University of California, Davis. Throughout his career, he has developed deep expertise in educational budgeting, Cognitive Coaching and Adaptive Schools training, curriculum development, and educational technology integration.

Known for a collaborative and solutions-focused approach, Gavin is passionate about building systems that allow therapists to focus fully on client care while enhancing accessibility, communication, and overall practice excellence. He believes that strong operational leadership plays a vital role in supporting meaningful therapeutic outcomes and fostering a positive experience for every client who comes through the practice’s doors.
