Clinician

Sophia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with four years of experience working with children, youth, families, and adults in in-home and community-based settings. Drawing from her background as a social worker and her prior experience as a community organizer she uses an anti-oppressive, flexible, and deeply collaborative approach to therapy that centers the values, perspectives, expertise and needs of her clients. She believes the hard, vulnerable work of therapy can be even more transformational when we incorporate joy, humor, and creativity in the therapy room. She strives to support her clients in finding freedom from their struggles like anxiety, depression, stress, doubts, and hopelessness through building a meaningful life.

Sophia earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Boston College with a concentration in Children, Youth, and Families. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Spanish from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts.
