Lauren Babcock, LMFT

Lauren is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with five years experience working with children, adolescents, and families providing mental health services in community-based settings. Her background includes supporting individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, communication challenges, behavioral concerns, trauma, and relationship issues. She uses an eclectic and collaborative treatment approach and strives to create a safe and open environment where clients are seen, understood, and valued. Lauren believes that compassion and vulnerability are key in helping clients with personal growth and healing. 

 

Lauren earned her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from University of San Francisco (Santa Rosa Campus). Lauren received her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science from California State University, Chico. 

 

Specialties: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client Centered approach, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused therapy.
